| Professional Qualification / Experience |
- MBA with a degree in Engineering with MBA. Additional qualification in Materials Management or Supply chain is desirable
- 8 years experience out which 5 years in procurement experience in a manufacturing organization preferably from an FMCG manufacturing unit.

| Job Responsibilities |
- Responsible for purchase of Raw materials, packaging material and indirect spends to ensure all KPIs are met within time frame in coordination with Corporate Purchase department
- Procure equipment, materials, systems and services complying to project Quality and Specification requirements in timely manner within approved budgeted cost.
- Initiate/enquiry / RFI / RFP / RFQ. Prepare, review and finalize technical / commercial bid analysis.
- Develop and maintain extensive supplier and service provider database.
- Establish a supplier performance measurement process in order to assist Supplier Management
- Periodic visits to Business Units and ensure maximum operational efficiency at sites and projects
- Submit periodic reports of procurement activities: Update activity report on a weekly basis. Provide information on savings achieved on a monthly basis. Secure closure of ongoing projects as per allocated deadline
- Ensure full customer satisfaction with procurement services through required liaison and monitoring of suppliers performance to ensure such satisfaction.
- Seek opportunities in process improvement to shape and change strategy by exploiting supply market conditions.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement to ensure efficient and effective procurement efforts
- Support organizational initiative towards Change Management and new ERP implementation .
